OPWAY emerged on the 1st of January, 2008 as a result of a merger between the OPCA business group and Sopol, a construction company.  Despite the fact that this is a new and innovative company, OPWAY is proud to have successfully achieved 75 years in the construction business, gaining a wealth of experience with which to look to the future with ambition, secure in the knowledge that it is prepared for new challenges and achieve them.

Through these recent acquisitions, OPWAY can select and use the best practices of the various acquired companies into its system, significantly strengthening its market position in terms of operational efficiency and response - a major turnaround from the past

Although we are well aware that we have the dimension, the capacity and the recognition to decide our path, we will never abdicate from our working principles: ethics, rigour, stability, and social and environmental responsibility. We will be focusing on modernisation, ambition and constructive strength, in order to secure our leadership in a highly competitive sector of the construction and public works market.

OPWAY represents the best of each universe on which it was founded, so we can safely say that this new company is much more than a mere construction company, as it incorporates previously developed strategic lines in terms of diversification of business areas and internationalization.

With its five different business areas – Construction, Real Estate, Ceramic Industry, Industry and Concessions – OPWAY will approach the construction business in an integrated and global way, with optimum cooperation from the various business areas
